ELEY Tenex Air Pellets 4.50

Description

ELEY Tenex air pellets are match pellets for 10m air rifle and air pistol. This tin has the 4.50 mm head size. Tight weight control means each shot flies the same way.

Why ELEY Tenex air pellets

ELEY is a UK maker best known for tenex .22 rimfire ammunition. It brought the tenex name to air pellets in 2018.

• ✔ Weight control – ELEY states 30% better weight control than other brands. Less variation means tighter groups.
• ✔ Flat head – cuts a clean hole. Scoring is easier on paper and electronic targets.
• ✔ Rifle and pistol – ELEY lists it for both disciplines.
• ✔ Protective tin – damage-resistant and re-sealable. Pellet heads stay round.

4.49 or 4.50 mm – which ELEY Tenex should you buy?

Every barrel is a little different. Buy one tin of each size. Shoot groups from a rest. Keep the size that groups best. Try the ELEY Tenex 4.49 mm too.

How ELEY Tenex air pellets help your score

At 10m, the ten ring is very small. A pellet that is a little light or heavy can drop out of it. That shot costs you points, even with a perfect hold.

Weight control reduces those surprise shots. Each pellet leaves the barrel at a more even speed. Your group gets rounder and smaller.

Head size matters as much as weight. A pellet that fits your barrel well seals better. The 4.50 mm head suits many barrels. The 4.49 mm suits others.

The flat head punches a clean hole in paper. On electronic targets, consistent pellets give consistent results.

How to get the best from your pellets

• ✔ Do not wash or oil match pellets.
• ✔ Load gently. Do not press the skirt with your nail.
• ✔ Close the tin after every series.
• ✔ Use one batch for a full season if you can.
